Jeff Langton has made outstanding achievements in the field of martial arts and boxing. Not only has he achieved the state of Master but attained the rank of black belt many times over in an array of diverse arts, including Shotokan, Tae Kwon Do, Kajukenpo, Kung Fu, as well as "The Sweet Science" just to name a few. As a young man he rapidly excelled in martial arts and boxing, becoming the captain of Choi's Institute of Tae Kwon Do Championship Team and then went on to be California State Tae Kwon Do Champion. He was also the first and original member of the world famous West Coast Demo Team and introduced gymnastics and acrobatics to martial arts demonstration. This legacy continues on, as Langton's format is still used today by West Coast Demo Team in shows all around the world. After conquering the competitive world of martial arts, he decided to make his mark on the big screen. Training extensively with six time World Champion Kickboxer Benny "The Jet" Urquidez and doing live action stunts for Universal Studios prepared him for what lied ahead. He began doing perilous stunts for Sylvester Stallone. After paying his dues the gates of opportunity opened wide, allowing him to finally demonstrate his skill and talent, giving Jeanne-Claude Van Dam a run for his money in Lion Heart. It was then that he proved beyond any doubt that he could hold his own in front of the camera, allowing him to star in such films as Final Impact and Maximum Force. This lead to appearing in such films and television shows as Price of Glory, Matlock, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Las Vegas. He Continued to work both on and off camera imparting his wealth of knowledge while training and coaching Tommy Morrison in Rocky V. The Teaching never stopped as he continued to let his passion of helping others lead him to cleaning up the mean streets of Los Angeles. He opened up his own gym and began reforming troubled youth, giving them a second chance and has been acknowledged for this many times in local newspapers and publications. "I turn cowards into heroes and bullies into gentlemen" said Langton in a recent story for the local paper. So whether it's reforming gang members, being a personal trainer to the stars, or fighting while flying through a glass window in an upcoming project, Mini's First Time, Jeff Langton is a force to be reckoned with. |
